Taste the Bounty of the Season

At our farmer's market, we partner with local farmers and ranchers to provide a farm-to-table experience that allows visitors to sample the freshest, most flavorful ingredients from the region. At our food vendors, you can expect to find a wide variety of seasonal fruits and crisp vegetables, as well as other locally produced goods such as juicy burgers, honey, farm fresh eggs, dairy products, and baked goods. The market provides a unique opportunity for consumers to connect with their local farmers, learn about the methods used to grow their food, and taste the difference between locally grown produce. What's New & Exciting!

In recent news, the Alberta government has announced a 60% increase in agriculture insurance premiums, which means added costs for crop producers. While this news may not be good, it is also not surprising, given the rise in input costs over the past few years. According to farmer John Guelly, "It's another cost we're going to have on the farm here." With added expenses from fuel, fertilizer, and transportation, farmers are already dealing with a financial burden.

Farmers could use our support now more than ever. The Stettler farm fair provides an opportunity for farmers to come together, showcase their products and animals, and celebrate agriculture in the community. So come on out and join us at the Stettler farm fair – let's support our farmers and show appreciation for all they do.
